2025 Grants Now Open!
This year we are so excited to announce not one, but two grants launching today! Scroll down to check out our ‘Be The Difference’ and ‘Summer of Fun’ grants, what they can fund, and how to apply.
Be The Difference Grant
The first grant we’re proud to launch is the ‘Be The Difference’ grant. Is there an activity, group or club you would love to be a part of but doesn’t exist in your community? Well let’s make it happen together!
This grant programme will fund ideas, coproduced with people we support and staff, that create fun and engaging opportunities, activities or groups. It could be anything from holding a book club to putting on a disco, creating a sports league to making a film. There’s so many possibilities, it just needs to be something that people want to be part of.
Think about what you would like to do and check if it is already available in your local community. If not, think of an idea and, reach out to others to see if anyone else would be interested in taking part.
We would love for these ideas to be self-sustaining, so any money raised could be used to keep the fun going by running it more than once, but all opportunities will be considered.
Applicants can apply for a grant of up to £500.
Successful applicants must be willing to share their experience, including photos and a summary of the activity or opportunity funded, on social media.
If you need help understanding or preparing your ‘Be The Difference’ grant then we are running four Zoom sessions on:
- 2pm Tuesday 29th April
- 2pm Tuesday 6th May
- 2pm Tuesday 13th May
- 2pm Tuesday 20th May

Summer of Fun Grant
Our new grant for 2025! The ‘Summer of Fun’ grant will help services to hold an activity or event which gives the people they support the opportunity to try something that they have never done before! Whether it’s a silent disco, a painting party, or something else entirely, we want to hear your ideas.
The grant can fund anything you need to make a fantastic event, from venue hire, to the purchase of equipment, food or transport. You will need to provide an outline of how your budget will be spent as part of your submission.
Applicants can apply for a grant of up to £300. Those with ideas for larger-scale events across a wider area can apply for a ‘Grand Prize’ grant of up to £800. Only one Grand Prize will be awarded per region.
Successful applicants must be willing to share their event experience, including photos and a summary of the day, on social media.
