Creative Stars – November Winners!
Congratulations to our latest round of Creative Stars winners!
Our service user awards celebrate the people who shine brightly and do wonderful things for each other. We have four exciting category winners, who will receive a badge, £30 Love2Shop voucher and a certificate.
Congratulations to this month’s round of winners:
High Flyer Award
Abdulbagi, Manchester
Abdulbagi has gone from strength to strength recently, achieving huge milestones. First, he stopped smoking, a big accomplishment in itself. Then, he enrolled in college, where he continues to work hard on his education.
Not stopping there, he decided to learn to drive. He booked and passed his theory test, started driving lessons, and passed his driving test in October on his very first attempt!
Staff are all incredibly proud of you, Abdulbagi, and want you to know how inspiring you are.
“Abdulbagi has gone from strength to strength.”
Eco-friendly Award
Diana, Bedford
Diana has been making remarkable strides in her journey to become more environmentally conscious. She has been exploring the bus as an alternative mode of travel and has discovered she truly enjoys it.
In doing so, Diana has not only reduced her carbon footprint but has also set a positive example for others in our community. Her willingness to step out of her comfort zone and explore sustainable travel options demonstrates her commitment to caring for the environment.
Diana, your small but impactful changes, are contributing to a healthier planet. Your dedication is truly admirable!
“Diana sets a positive example for others.”
Positivity Award
Gemma Tregidgo, Wellingborough
Gemma does a brilliant job as the Service User Representative Champion and Welcome Host at her service. She ensures visitors feel warmly welcomed by introducing them to staff and the people we support, as well as offering them a hot drink. This all counts towards a great first impression.
She helps her staff with recruitment, regularly joining them at recruitment events and hosting stalls. Gemma’s bubbly personality puts a smile on everyone’s face and she has developed a really positive relationship with her staff team.
Gemma, your hard work is really appreciated by everyone at your service, you should be very proud!
“Gemma puts a smile on everyone’s face.”
Community Champion Award
