IIP Awards Gold and Silver for Creative Support’s Dedication to Staff Learning and Development

Creative Support, a national charitable provider of social care services, is delighted to announce that, following our recent assessment by Investors in People (IIP), we have retained our organisation wide Silver status. This is wonderful achievement and reflects the dedication of everyone in the organisation!

We were also assessed separately for our Learning & Development and HR teams, based at our Head Office in Stockport, who were both awarded Gold. This is our first IIP Gold and we are so thrilled that the dedication of these teams has been recognised.

Investors in People assess an organisation’s commitment to leading, supporting and developing their workforce, and putting people first. Over 50,000 organisations are accredited with IIP and only 17% of these achieve Gold status. This demonstrates the valuable work of our Learning & Development and HR teams in supporting and developing their staff. In the full report, IIP notes ‘You care about your people, and we know you’re ambitious to do even more for them’.

Our CEO Anna Lunts commented on the newly awarded Gold status: ‘This reflects very positively on the motivational leadership of the Managers of the L&D and HR Teams, as well as their fantastic staff’.

Maintaining our organisation wide Silver status is also a great achievement, one we are immensely proud of. We would like to extend our thanks to all the staff who took part in the assessment process.  We are so pleased that people had such positive things to say about working for Creative Support and that throughout this difficult year in particular, staff have felt supported and valued. We will spend the next 12-18 months using all the feedback we received from staff, managers and IIP assessors to continue to build on this achievement.
