Warwick Castle Adventure for Folks in Alcester
Folks in Alcester had a great trip out to Warwick Castle!
John invited CB, Heather and George out to celebrate his birthday, so everyone embarked on the journey, climbing a very tiring 500 stairs to the top!
Afterwards, they all had tea and biscuits at a nearby service – lovely!
Smashing Holiday after Seven Years for Joan
Joanne from Blackburn enjoyed her first holiday in seven years! Joanne explored the sea and enjoyed walking along the sand in Blackpool. She embraced the fantastic weather, and even celebrated her birthday whilst she was away.
“She had an absolute blast feeding the ducks outside her apartment,” said Julie, who supported Joanne on her holiday. “She also thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Blackpool Illuminations, which was a sensory haven!”
“Joanne was an absolute dream to support – you could clearly tell from her smile that she was enjoying every second of it.”
What lovely photos! Hopefully many more holidays to come Joanne.
Lucy Learns Lots at the Local Museum
Lucy in Doncaster wanted to visit her local museum and look at the trains!
Lucy had a good look at all the trains they had, and Senior Support Worker Karen read out their histories so she could learn all about them.
There were many other sights to see, including a vintage car, war memorabilia and impressive statues!
After having a good wander, Lucy and Karen had some well-earned posh coffee in the café, and Lucy put her photos in her memory book to look back on.
