Burgers and Bingo for Breast Cancer Awareness
On a dry spring afternoon, our services in Telford came together for burgers and bingo!
They raised an amazing £120 for Breast Cancer Now with name the rabbit, a raffle and bingo. In this picture, they are holding up the sign which says “BREAST CANCER NOW” to raise awareness!
Everyone enjoyed sharing the delicious food and chatting to each other in the garden. What a wonderful way to celebrate spring and help a good cause!
Andrew Bakes Biscuits for Dogs Trust
Andrew in Denton baked homemade dog biscuits and kindly donated them to his local Dogs Trust!
The biscuits had flavours including cheese, peanut butter and honey. After mixing, rolling, and press-cutting the dough into bone shapes, Andrew labelled the biscuits with the contents to ensure the dogs’ safety.
Andrew also donated some used bedding and towels to make comfy beds for the dogs! Dogs Trust were delighted to accept Andrew’s lovely treats, and in return, they showed him around the dogs’ accommodation.
Andrew hopes to make biscuits for them every month, as well as take one of the dogs for a walk. He enjoyed every bit of it!
