Do you have your voter ID? Register by the 26th June

The General Election is taking place on Thursday 4th July. We want to encourage our staff and the people we support to use their vote and have their say about how our country is run.

To vote in an election, you must be registered to vote and have a valid ID.

Accepted forms of ID

Accepted forms of ID include a Passport, Provisional or Full Driving License, a Blue Badge, Bus Pass, Oyster Photocard and more.

You can use your photo ID even if it’s out of date, as long as it looks like you.

If you don’t have an accepted photo ID, you can apply for a free voter ID document, which is called a Voter Authority Certificate. The deadline to apply is 5pm on Wednesday 26th June.
