Government Test Alert

This Sunday the 23rd April, the UK Government will be trialling a new alert system for any future warnings such as flooding.

This test will automatically go to everyone’s mobile phones and their tablets at 3pm, which may be a bit of a shock. Please remember that this is only a test and you have nothing to worry about.

If you have a mobile phone or tablet which you keep private from people in your household or life then please be sure to turn this off before 3pm to maintain your privacy.

The alert may startle you or cause you to worry, but it will be over quickly and can help you in the future. If you are still worried about the test alert, please speak to your support worker or loved ones.
