Are you passionate about delivering high quality, engaging, respectful and dignified care and support to older people? If so we are looking to recruit a passionate Senior Support Worker to join our existing management team in Carlisle.

 

As a Senior Support worker you will support the management of a small 27 bed residential care home in Carlisle. Providing 24 hour support for older adults that require additional care and support, but without the need for specialist nursing Care. As a Senior Support Worker we ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, caring for their Physical, Psychological and Social needs. Assisting residents with personal care activities including personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals and support to fully engage in activities.

 

Above all, we’re looking for kind and caring people who want a job where they can really make a difference to people’s lives. Previous experience working in a Care home environment is desirable but not essential. However experience of leading a team and qualifications in care are essential (Level 2 or above). As is the willingness to work flexibly according to the needs of the service to include daytimes, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. The service is located on a main public transport route with regular buses travelling in and around the area.
