Leeds Quality in Care Awards Winner
We are so proud to announce that Aliphina, one of our incredible Support Workers in Leeds, had won this year’s Leeds Quality in Care Awards in the Paid Care or Support Worker of the Year category! She beat off some stiff competition, going up against 45 other nominees, but the judges found the ‘unflappable’ Aliphina to be a true “encapsulation of the values of what it means to be a Support Worker.”
Matt C, Aliphina’s line manager and Service Manager, said: “Aliphina is so incredibly deserving of this award and we’re all so proud of her here at the service. She is a true pleasure to work with, we’d be lost without her!”
Aliphina was nominated for being such a ‘hardworking and compassionate member of the team’. She has worked at the service for over 12 years, and has ‘helped numerous people achieve their dreams and live their best lives.’ She works closely with people to ensure positive outcomes and help people progress with their goals and ambitions. Aliphina is also incredibly flexible around shifts, and always works ‘over her contracted hours as she is so dedicated to the people she supports.’
Upon hearing the news of her win, Aliphina said: “I’m so happy! I really appreciated even just being nominated, and this recognition was amazing. This is the first thing I’ve ever won.” We’re sure it won’t be your last Aliphina, we hope you’ve made room on your mantelpiece for your trophy!
A huge congratulations once again to Aliphina- a very well-deserved winner.
