Sheffield Cares Awards ’25

Last week Sheffield’s carers and social care staff were celebrated at the Sheffield Cares Excellence Awards and we are so proud of our shortlisted staff Gillian, Jose, Lesley and Susan from one of our Sheffield services. Gillian was nominated in the Commitment to Care category, while Jose, Lesley and Susan were nominated in the Team of the Year category.

Nominees were welcomed into the beautiful Sheffield City Hall Ballroom which was decked out to the nines to honour attendees. Shortlisted nominees were called out before announcing the winners, celebrating everyone for all of their hard work to deliver amazing care and support to people in the region.

While our wonderful staff didn’t take home the award, we hope they know how proud of them we are for their commitment and dedication to providing quality care and support to people at their service, and we’re so glad that they were recognised on such a scale for their work.

“It was an honour to be recognised and to make the shortlist,” the lovely four said.

Following a delicious meal and drinks, everyone partied the night away before carriages called them home, ready to continue to make a difference in health and social care at their next shift.
